Pork Chops and Home-Made Slaw Hit the Spot!

Published by Rilee Waller on February 19th, 2014

Smokehouse Glenn continues to demonstrate the numerous cooking condiments he stocks in his store that provide his customers with unending recipe variations.

Today, Glenn made a marinade for the boneless pork chops he cooked this morning. The marinade recipe consisted of Red Apple Balsamic Vinegar, Chipotle Olive Oil, Sea Salt and sugar. The boneless pork chops were marinaded overnight in the marinade mixture then simply pan fried. The marinade almost turned into a glaze that coated the pork with a deliciously sweet flavor; having an ever so slight twang from the chipotle olive oil.

The home-made cole slaw was flavored with a dressing mixture consisting of Cilantro & Roasted Onion Olive Oil, Serrano Honey Specialty Vinegar, sugar, Sea Salt and mayo. I have never tasted a better flavored slaw dressing; don’t be fooled by the Serrano in the vinegar! The honey made a great off-set to the pepper flavoring and the taste was sensationally sweet! This is a great change from the routine flavoring the conventional recipe tastes like!
