Flank Steak Goes Oriental with a Touch From Glenn

Published by Rilee Waller on May 14th, 2014

Smokehouse Glenn received a new sea salt flavor Tuesday and was just dying to use it so he whipped up this patch of Stir Fry for us this morning. Stir Fry Dish

Starting out with a flank steak, (my favorite versatile cut) Glenn sliced up the beef and sauteed it in soy sauce and Szechuan Pepper Sea Salt from The Salt Works. Taking his vegetables, carrots, water chestnuts, baby corn, broccoli, sweet pea pods; Glenn cooked all them in a combination of Honey Ginger Balsamic Vinegar and Blood Orange Olive Oil. Extremely simple to prepare and very tasty! Again, another simply good tasting meal prepared from main ingredients found at Smokehouse Glenn in the Country Village, Ishpeming.Vinegar & Oil

With 38 different flavored olive oils and vinegars, a wide selection of premium beef, chicken, pork AND seafood, exquisite tasting meals are just a drive away in Ishpeming. Store hours for the “Custom Cut Butcher” of Ishpeming are M – F 10 to 6; Sundays 10 – 4. Call 485-4220 and talk to Smokehouse Glenn; he would be glad to help you select what you are looking for your next meal !
