The one good thing about Smokehouse Glenn’s amazing meat store, beside the fact that he carries the BEST in beef, pork, chicken or seafood is that he has products that cover all meals of the day – breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Today, Glenn reached into his breakfast goodie bag and pulled out several batches of his home made breakfast sausage and added two different yet flavorful balsamic vinegars. Like all his home made sausages, Glenn starts with the leanest cuts of pork shoulder, his seasoning recipe perfected of the years and ground to just the texture. In addition to an already great tasting product, Glenn decided to add a flavored balsamic vinegar to each of his two batches of sausage – Honey Ginger and Black Cherry vinegars. Each batch had its own marinade of flavored vinegar over night then skillet cooked in the morning. These vinegars explode with flavor and each saturate the sausages with their distinct flavor.
