Smokehouse Glenn has the pleasure of sharing several family recipes during the course of his processing day and came upon this particular cudighi recipe that incorporates of all spices – Allspice! To review, allspice is the dried unripe fruit of Pimenta dioica, an evergreen tree in the myrtle family. Also called Jamaica pepper, the English gave it its name in 1621 because they thought it combined the flavor of cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.
Glenn’s cudighi has a pleasant aromatic flavor blended with scrambled eggs and sprinkled with some grated cheddar cheese, these breakfast burritos are extremely easy to create and delicious. This will hit the spot, get your morning going or taste great anytime!
Along with home made cudighi, Smokehouse Glenn makes his own home made hot dogs, his new “Bun-busting wieners”, brats, the best polish sausage and kielbasa! Not to mention all the varieties of seasons, sea salts, olive oils and balsamic vinegars.
