From Day One, Smokehouse Glenn has set up his business to provide two important things for his customers: Premium pork, beef, chicken, seafood; spices and seasonings and easy ways to prepare your items for delicious dining. Glenn brought in two items that are extremely easy products to use for snacking.
Smokehouse Glenn made a very easy chip dip using a 16 oz. container of sour cream and a mixture of Glenn’s Hot Pepper Dip Mix. Incorporating a blend of brown sugar, Onions, red and green bell pepper and jalapeno pepper powder. Taco chips, potato chips or pretzel chips work very well with this dip that first has a sweet flavor but quickly turns up the heat!
Two delicious salsas from Troll Smokehouse of Kawkawlin, Mi are available from Smokehouse Glenn. Both Mild and Hot Salsa were sampled and enjoyed. Either one would taste great on top of your favorite plate of nachos and refried beans, olives, shredded cheese and sour cream – Mmmm!
Don’t forget – St. Patrick’s Day is coming – March 16th; that means corned beef brisket from Groebell’s of Detroit. Glenn has been carrying their product for years and has several available for your favorite boiled dinner or Reuben sandwich.
Smokehouse Glenn is located in the Country Village; 1040 Country Lane in Ishpeming. The phone number to your very own “custom cut butcher” in the area is 485-4220! Store hours are M – Sat. 10 to 6!
