Smokehouse Glenn brought in three flavors of his own home made Turkey Jerky; Teriyaki, BBQ and Cajun. There are definite flavor differences between each of these choices. Teriyaki has a sweet flavor to it; BBQ has a gentle smoky flavor to it and Cajun will definitely have your taste buds perked up with a spicy zing!
Whether making jerky from beef or turkey, the process is basically the same. When making his turkey jerky, Glenn will use turkey tenders. Turkey renders less of a chew quality to the jerky as does the beef jerky that has more chew factor; ladies usually appreciate less of the chew factor coming from turkey jerky.
Glenn has now made buying his balsamic vinegars and olives oils so easy for his customers that might be thinking about giving his delicious items as gifts. Since there are at least 38 different flavors of olive oil, Glenn will sell you a tagged bottle that will be given as a gift and the bottle can be brought in to be filled with whatever flavor they desire.
