If you go back to our June 19th page, Smokehouse Glenn made some delicious old style wiener; the ONLY draw-back to it was that the natural casings Glenn used were a smaller diameter than what he wanted to use.
This time, Glenn procured the size casing he had in mind the first time, so now you have the ultimate “old style” wiener that should be the envy of all other wieners! Old style meaning that the meat is ground courser than today’s recipe; Glenn knows how to put the smoke to these wieners and the natural casing gives the proper “snap” each and every bite!
What I like about the proper size casings is that it allows for More Pork to be stuffed in these wieners – and the smoke flavor makes these fantastic!!!
